The Coye Law Firm is proud to serve the people in central Florida in their search for justice. The firm's experienced lawyers handle cases such as worker's compensation, personal injurysocial security disability claims, probate administration, wrongful death, and insurance disputes on behalf of victims. 

General Practice Areas & Background

The Coye Law Firm was founded 1991 with the goal of being a firm focused on clients, whether it be in cases such as personal injury, worker's compensation, wrongful death, or insurance claims. Mr. Coye was an early adapter of the internet and other computer technology to make the practice run more efficiently and accurately. The firm's continued use of technology provides a high level of service to clients in each type of legal matter. 

Our firm handles many types of cases. Experienced attorneys investigate cases regarding administrative matters, such as worker's compensation and the Social Security Administration, as well as traditional legal matters involving probate and small businesses. We are committed to defending the rights and reclaiming compensation for those who have been injured. Our legal team offers a compassionate client-based service with aggressive representation. The Coye Law Firm is comprised of many professionals with a wide variety of experiences to help thoroughly resolve your legal concern.

Successful cases include suits against a major theme park in Orlando, utility companies, construction companies, and major insurance carriers. We have won cases with million dollar recoveries on the behalf of injured victims. Appeals in the First and Fifth District Courts and the Florida Supreme Court have been successful as well.

Attorneys

Wade B. Coye is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law and a U.S. Army Infantry veteran. He prides Coye Law Firm Attorneyshimself and his practice on seeking what is right, helping others, and ensuring that those who cause injuries are held responsible for them. 

Daniel E. Smith II is a partner in the law firm handling and overseeing multiple departments. After attending Edgewater High School and the University of Central Florida, Mr. Smith moved onto the University of Florida Levin College of Law. There he served as editor-in-chief for the school's Journal of Law and Public Policy. Mr. Smith was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2005.

Nanette Cruz is a graduate of Florida A&M University's school of Law. Her interest in law was sparked by participating in a mock session of Congress during the National Young Leaders Conference. Mrs. Cruz is very active in her community through church and neighborhood activities. 

Salim Punjani is an attorney in the worker's compensation department who has been nationally recognized for his work with youth at underfunded schools in Atlanta. He graduated from Barry University's school of Law, where he was a member of the Environmental Law Society and treasurer for the Animal Rights Law Society. 

Amber Williams is a recent graduate from Stetson University with both her Juris Doctor and her Masters in Business Administration. At Stetson she was secretary of Phi Delta Phi, the legal fraternity, and she worked at the Coye Law Firm during her undergraduate and graduate studies. Her plans include involvement with Guardian Ad Litem program and admission to practice in federal court.

Case Managers

David MacWilliams is a senior case manager and experienced in medical cases and fields. He graduated from the University of Delaware and worked for Traveler's Insurance as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor. After working with Traveler's, he decided to pursue the legal aspects of rehabilitation. He is fluent in Spanish and enjoys spending time with family.

Ursula Remy is a well-traveled member of the personal injury department at the Coye Law Firm. She was born in Peru and moved with her family to the United States when she was three. She stayed local for her education, attending Timber Creek high school and the University of Central Florida. An active member of her community, Ms. Remy is also fluent in Spanish and a proud parent.

Valeria Coll is a recent graduate of the University of Central Florida who assists attorneys and case managers in Social Security disability claims. She was born in Venezuela and came to the United States when she was five. She wants to pursue employment law when she becomes an attorney.

Interns

Local students interested in law serve the Coye Law Firm through internships. These members of our team help the day-to-day workings of the office and assist attorneys or case managers.

Sanessa Griffiths is a senior at University of Central Florida double-majoring in legal studies and political science, with a minor in business. She volunteers with multiple activities and charities around the Orlando metro area and is President for the UCF chapter of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. She has ambitions to be a corporate lawyer upon completion of law school.

Samuel Meshulam is a Florida native and a business major at the University of Central Florida. He is treasurer of Tau Kappa Epsilon and vice president of the bowling club at UCF. After his graduation in spring 2013, Sam plans to attend law school.

Ivelis Quinones is a Florida native and a legal studies major at the University of Central Florida. With a minor in criminal justice and a certificate in crime scene investigation, she has amibitions to attend law school at New York University upon completing her undergraudate degree in spring, 2012. She would like to practice law in both Florida and New York.

The Coye Law Firm has locations in Orlando, Kissimmee, Melbourne, Tampa, and Clermont to serve the community.
