Paola started off as one of our legal interns and quickly rose to be our social security Case Manager! She was born in Margarita Island in Venezuela and moved to Miami during elementary school. Paola decided to attend UCF for college and moved to Orlando in 2016. She is currently an Interdisciplinary Studies Major which is an undergraduate program that allows students to have two main areas of focus as well as a minor. Her two areas of study are Legal Studies and Film with a minor in Mass Communications.
During her undergraduate, Paola has become involved in quite a few extracurricular activities; however, the main organization she has been part of for her entire time at UCF is Cru. Cru is an on-campus ministry that focuses on creating a community of kind and loving people who want to learn more about Christianity. She is currently the worship leader of Cru and enjoys bringing people closer together through leading.
Paola loves being able to spend time with friends in her free time, specifically including her recently rescued pup, Archie! She also loves most forms of art. She enjoys singing, painting, decorating, and dancing whenever she gets the chance! On the weekends Paola tries to spend as much time doing all her favorite past times as mentioned but spends the most time loving on her new rescue pup.
Here at the Coye Law Firm, Paola is very dedicated to her role as Case Manager for the social security department. She is responsible for overseeing our clients cases and processing their appeals, handling medical records requests, and preparing our clients in every way for their hearings.
Paola says "Working at CLF has deeply connected me back to the central reasons I have always wanted to be an attorney. Since I was about 8 years old, I noticed that the way I saw life was different and so was my urge to empower and advocate for those in need. I have always had a strong desire and voice to stand up against injustices and defend those in need. Many people struggle to be heard, and I yearn to help by being their voice."
We are truly grateful to have someone with such a kind and dedicated heart on our team!
