There's 104 days of summer vacation and school comes along just to end it... the biggest problem is figuring out the best way to spend it!

Summer time means more time with the kiddos, and double the parental duties. As a father of five, I know it can be difficult to find new and exciting activities for the kids that won't break the bank.

Beyond the well-known theme parks all over Orlando, there are MANY adventures for children of all ages, at a fraction of the cost.

7 Things to do in Orlando with the kids this summer:

1. Orlando Tree Trek Adventure Park

Where: 7625 Sinclair Rd.Kissimmee, Florida 34747

This adventure mixes learning AND fun! Your kids will learn about real-world applications of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) with wind tunnels. Then, they will get to sky dive in that same tunnel! That's what I call hands-on learning.
