Thousands of men and women who have served in Iran and Afghanistan between 2003 and 2015 are suffering from debilitating hearing loss from defective ear plugs by 3M.

The ear plugs did not maintain a tight enough seal while the wearer had them in their ear. This ultimately let damaging sounds penetrate the wearer’s ear canal without them even knowing.

This fault has resulted in:

Hearing loss

Tinnitus (ringing in ears)

Loss of balance

Dual-Ended Combat Arms™ Earplugs

Manufacturing company 3M allegedly knew about these defective ear plugs when they were selling them for more than a decade. Many veterans are now filing lawsuits against them.

3M has agreed to pay $9.1 million to resolve the allegations that they were selling the ear plugs to the Defense Logistics Agency without disclosing any defects. However, Veterans are still coming forward to seek compensatory damages.

Our veterans rely on their equipment while out on the field. These ear plugs promised to protect their hearing while in combat and training. It is devastating to know that so many veterans have been let down and have had their lives severely impacted.

If you or a loved one has been impacted by hearing loss from these defective ear plugs, you may be eligible for compensation.

It is critical that you seek legal advice to help maximize your potential compensation.

As a veteran myself, and an experienced attorney who has helped hundreds of veterans with various claims, I understand how difficult this must be for the ones affected.

Give me a call today so that we can discuss your options.
